Being bored and at home for the second half of summer, I found myself looking at old keepsakes and came across a CD I made for my fourth-grade marketplace. Every student had to make a product to sell and the first time around, I chose a CD and friendship bracelets. Looking past the piracy of selling copyrighted songs on a mixtape, this CD reminded me of songs I had forgotten about that I use to love and still to do this day. On the front of the CD is a great marketing slogan “Without music the world would B flat” and of course, I still laughed at the terrible pun because my sense of humor is the same as my ten-year-old self. If my memory serves me right, I think I sold out of CDs, but for the next marketplace later that year, I did homemade butterbeer from Harry Potter instead.
